
SC1464 is a 16 bit data acquisition system with built-in dual 16 bit SAR analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that support dual synchronous sampling of 16 channels. Each channel is equipped with analog input clamp protection and analog filters. The device also integrates flexible digital filters, a 2.5V precision reference voltage source and reference voltage buffer, as well as serial and parallel interfaces.
SC1464 is powered by a single 5V power supply and can handle true bipolar input signals within the input ranges of ± 10V, ± 5V, ± 2.5V, and ± 16V and ± 8V. Each pair of channels supports sampling at a throughput rate of up to 1MSPS and a SNR of 90dB. Using on-chip oversampling mode can also achieve higher SNR performance, with an SNR of 91.2dB when the oversampling rate (OSR) is 2.
The input clamp protection circuit can withstand voltages up to ± 30 V and ESD levels up to 8 kV. The SC1464 analog input impedance is 1M Ω, so there is no need for an external operational amplifier driver.
